I had a nightmare about flying barbecues. I wonder if this is a connection...
Excellent pork, chicken and beef casserole for the graphical soul!
Great job! |

Oh yea since nobody asked.
All characters were modeled using workSpace tools except the dog's tail and the end of the hoe (modeler bend tools). Carrot tops were created using "Plant Studio" a free program listed in Steinie's Free Stuff.
Rendering was done using VRay with no HDRI. Sky and Clouds are a textured plane in the background. Everything is one render. The Magazine needs to be fixed tonight with Photoshop. Although it is legable at 1024 x 768 it is hard to read at 800x600.
Mr. Pig is demanding more wages if he models in my next scene. I reminded him of the threats by a certain other pig after he slipped up to New York last week.
We made a deal.
What happened in New York stays in New York. |

I love this image! I think it is my favorite from you yet - but I think I've been saying that every time you work on a new image lately.
Just waiting for your work to become syndicated some place, with it's unique and identifiable style!

Absolutely - an excellent piece (again). You make this osrt of character work look so easy - though I'm sure most of us don't think it is!
I like the touch of 'Wallace and Grommit' style with the magazine - Grommit the dog always seems to be reading interesting books and papers like this... |

Nez, I love Wallace and Grommit, even the early stuff. I like the fact he leaves finger prints in the clay to remind us it is man made. I really wasn't thinking of this Cartoon while making mine, what I was thinking? "Pigs can't read"...:D
Marcel, I'm always embarrassed talking to someone from France. True story, I'm on Vacation in Paris as a young Artist standing in front of this huge beautiful old building so I took a picture of it. When I come home everyone is asking why I took pictures of the Louvre and didn't go inside. I had no idea I was standing in front of some of the greatest artwork in the world...stupid me.
Weevil, Steve, Rayman I've got three burgers coming off the grill...:D |

Great picture, Steinie, what I like about your work is the fun, but also the fact that it is always recognizable as your work, the Steinie style!
