I could go backwards and do a WIP but I have other projects I'm working on also. So this entry won't be "Official" but done as "support" of the MMC. So no voting for this one. All comments are always welcome.

Nice one Steinie! :D

Bummer you're not entering though.

Creepy!

I have this feeling something is watching me and it is!

Great render - I like the projections, uncomfortably secluded and exposed at the same time.

Very nice Steinie, I like it (and appreciate your support of the subject).

You could still do a 'retrospective' WIP where you deconstruct a few of the elements and show how you did them, that would still qualify in my opinion, especially as we're a bit low on entries this month...

Either way, I like what you;ve done and it's worked better than what I was trying...

I'll see what I can do Nez. I do have a screen capture of the wireframe to show how a vertical plane was used for the haze. Also my experiment using transparency to give the illusion of distance.

Thanks Jack and James I've been watching both your work too in the MMC.
Keep it going.

Art. That's art.

I'd like to hear about the transparency for distance technique.

I have this feeling something is watching me and it is!

Alright, alright. I'll turn off the cameras I hid in your house.

Thanks Finis.

I put up a WIP as Nez suggested so we can have some friendly competition.:)

I tried to explain in my WIP a technique of simulating distance used by Artist for eons. Often the technique is to use the camera's DOF but there are certainly other ways to do it. This illusion could have been done easily in post production using PS but I wanted all my effects within one render. Maybe this will spark an idea or two in another Artist. The main point is to experiment with your tools and go beyond your own boundaries.
