I started this as entry for Nez' speed model challenge. It would have been just the elephant head with a vacuum cleaner mouth piece. After 2 hours and a lot of trunk still to go I decided I had to skip the SMC and put some more time in it.

It is rendered in Vray with some dof and a little bit of HDR to make the eyes more lively. Texturing was done with Headus. I painted stains and colors and used pictures of elephant skin to make normal maps. I hope you like it.
