I hope you can model KuKulkan ok, because if not, he might get angry. ;)

Thanks Kena...it won't be to scale, becuase they do not have all the measurements..I am just taking some of the important ones to me and going from there. That is why I started with the staris and whent from there. I am having to guess at their width based on the pictures, and the height of the pryamid is going to be in porportion to the stairs.

Thanks for that Kena..I think since I do have the stairs at the correct 45 degree angle I can make the pyramid work. May not be to perfect scale, but then this is not a make it perfect competition.

Dam! I thought this was going to be about a new poultry recipe.

It sure looked like Chicken-Itza when I first read it.

Did you know there's another pyramid inside the big one??

They found that other piramid few years go.. and its a very very long stair and at the end there's a statue.. very creepy but its a cool place..

Have you tried Texture maker? It's very good. MapZone has very good potential as well, but is very complicated - steeper learning curve.

No I haven't Kena..I have see the map zone..but yeah way to complicated for my use. I do have a program called bricks and tiles that I may use on this for the block work..do you have a link to the texture maker?

Hey Jeff

Texture Maker is here: http://www.texturemaker.com/tour.php

and also here: http://texturemaker.thegamecreators.com/?f=index

also.. a free texture software is here:

A free one called semicuro is here: http://semicuro.sourceforge.net/

I don't know too much about either, but .. have heard people say good things aboutTexture Maker..

@ Jamesmc : that would have to be Itza Chicken!

The free version of Texture maker is pretty good, but some of the functionality is disabled. You can still make textures and save them, but you will not be able to use the advanced texture merge function. You can still use the drag and drop one though.

And Yes, those are indeed the links that Butterpaw gave.

I have the same handle on those forums. ;)

Looking good already Jeff - are you going for a 'nearly new' look or a highly worn one? Have to admit that 'distressing' all the stone and adding moss etc wouldn't much appeal to me in terms of texturing work... depending on how you've broken up the model, you may be able to get away with some relatively simple texturing without delving deep into UV mapping as most parts are at least right-angled geometry, so you could probably just apply planar maps to various faces or groups of faces... (spoken like someone who has know idea about UV mapping!)

Interested to see your setting for the pyramid too....

Well I plan on making it like new..but I may age if a few years with some warn down textures. I am going to make it as close to a jungle theme as I can based on picstures I have of it now.

I am going to have to drop out of the MMC. I broke my knuckle and I can't use the mouse and I can barely type. I have to wear this for 3 weeks. If I can get it in turned in before the time I will..but it does not look promising.
