Hello all!

Don't forget that this Thursday, November 15th, is a special Thanksgiving edition of our Thursday Night Live! meeting.

To celebrate, we'll be having our first ever Caligari Clinic, where you can bring your problems (be they a "how to" or a bug) live to Caligari staff and community members! You can read more on that here:

http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=4382

Next, we'll be announcing results of the trueSpace Mentor contest, where you the community vote on the winner. There's still a day or two to get your votes in! Read more here:

http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=4383

Plus we'll be going for a special Speed Modeling Challenge, to model a lego pilgrim or lego Native American - if you'd like to take part, send your name into thomas@caligari.com

We have a special Thanksgiving page up with the details:

http://www.caligari.com/TNL_Thanksgiving07.asp

We'll see you there!

Thanks!

Tom

The Thanksgiving Special meeting is tonight, in about 4 and a half hours as I post this!

We'll be starting with the Caligari Clinic, and then continuing with the announcement of the trueSpace Mentor results (I know who the winner is, but the first announcement will be made in the meeting tonight - it won't show here on the web pages until tomorrow). We'll also be doing a speed modeling challenge if anyone wants to step up and take part, plus the usual fun chance to simply get together.

We'll see you there!

I thought the results would be posted by now...I am quite curious as to who won. I really can't think of any one person who it might be...:)

Yep, it was a blast!

That was Bibiana up there with the purple top hat by the way... she was looking all over for somebody...

There were 13 of us there but it wasn't one of us.:o

I can tell you this though guys...

You are all winners in my book, and the one guy who won most definitely did deserve to.;)

Yes it was fun last night on the Thanksgiving TNL special!

Roman was not able to attend last night so he sent along a stand-in. Bibiana (Graple hat and peach dress) announced the winner of the trueSpace Mentor:

9608

Congrats to Jack Edwards and to all the candidates. I understand it was a close race and lots of folks participated in the voting.

Augusto kicked my butt in modeling during the speed modeling contest; thanksgiving theme of modeling a lego pilgrim or Native American. Augusto chose to model the pilgrim so I took the Native American option.

Roman's stand-in brought us some pizza:

9609

Just before most folks left for the evening we managed to get a couple of group shots of the evening:

9610

9611

Another excellent evening. We hope as time goes by more folks will attend and ask questions about trueSpace techniques or support scenarios during the Clinic session of the meeting. We only had one question last night and it was way cool how everyone there was will to help and answer. Pretty great community is what I say

Thanks for the award guys!

I feel really guilty about not attending though. I would've come if I'd gotten a bit more notice. :(

Prodigy's a modeling machine! But I think he may have had the easier of the two subjects. ;)

Also, I completely agree with Norm. The TS community is a great added value and companion to TrueSpace!
