If you're not watching the Super Tuesday stuff tonight, we're having our Tuesday night scriptor meeting. We will start at 6 PM Caligari time. Please remember, everyone is invited! Even if you are not interested in scripting, if you can see what scripting can do for your projects, and you like it, you can always get in touch with anyone from the scriptor group to assist! :) Everything you need to know (and then some :) ) in order to connect can be found here, in the first post: http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=4869 Dele has some interesting stuff to show tonight: * A Scripted game scene he wants to test with multiple avatars. Dele wants to test how well it works with multiple avatars present * Timer Event user access: Scripts which help you maintain control of the timer when you take control, and are running it. Currently the caveat here is, another user can still directly grab the timer by clicking on the Take Control button. Thank you for sharing this with the community Dele. This should make for a fun and interesting evening. I think sharing this will open a lot of doors for scriptors and folks interested in scripting. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! Froo Post by Délé // Feb 5, 2008, 6:31pm Délé Total Posts: 1374 It was fun tonight guys. Thanks for testing the game scenario with me. It seemed to work pretty good from what I could tell. The server wasn't bogging down or anything. I did figure out why the Info Sphere was sometimes displaying the wrong Avatar. I just forgot to put a little code at the end of the script to leave control of the Timer Event.
