Hey folks!

Just a reminder,

we're holding our Tuesday scriptor meeting again; same time, same place.

Anybody have any thoughts or questions for tonight's meeting? Feel free to post them here!


I was doodling the other night while chatting with butterpaw. I remembered a tutorial that Roman had written in the 7.0 manual. The tutorial was about the airplane and propeller, and how the propeller would rotate as the plane moved. Pretty cool. So I just did something a little different.


I just expanded the WldMatrix output of a sphere and the Matrix input of a cube. I connected the tx of the sphere WldMatrix to the roll input of the cube's matrix.


Then when I moved the sphere the cube rotated. Pretty cool actually.


Though I was not using fancy objects it did give me some ideas for animations.


I think the RC car does something similar; when you move it the tires rotate.


For 'characters', say, robots, you can add 'robo-bling', or nurnies, etc. which do little mini-motions when the character moves, for example.

Just a reminder about tonight everyone.

These meetings are always interesting and informative.

Sometimes we have an impromptu presentation, sometimes we have brainstorming sessions which lead to very cool results.


I have to work late but will get there when I can.

Awhile back Dele scripted a sliding beer can on a bar... that was pretty fun!
