hmmm i try to write a comment in english.
This is scary.
Movement of butterfly, physik of the drop, textures, objects.
Nothing of it is worth for share.
Was die Physil betrifft !

:)OK, thanks Vizu, it's always good if truth is said if youu are willing to learn, a basic important attitude for someon who want's to get into 3D
But for those not speaking german a short content of what you said
- textures are poor
- physics don't seem to work correct at all when the peach falls
- objects are ot modelled with much love for details
- I don't use the full power of trueSpace
textures - are self created with Infinity textures, only the wings are from the Caligari starting window
physics - hmm, I got you here, don't use physics at all, move the peach manually
- objects, yes you are right, was a fast and dirty construction
trueSpace - well, that's what I want to learn, so thanks to your critics I know wher to invest
Idea was to have at first some cartoon like animation, that doesn't ask too much for details. More important to me was in that moment do find a story and to see how much you can do if you make it manually. Didn't even use GI ore other light effects, like thundersorm or flash lights when the tree shakes. Stuf for futuure enhancements . |

Yes, but quickly means the details Vizu mentioned are missing, but I'm working on it, next version will be better :D |

This is good stuff! Nor sure of Vizu criticism though. Being able to do a quick rough and hone it is as needed has to be a big plus. Plus this was only a test as it may. Physic parameters and what not can later be honed in for better realistic repsonse. |

noko, that criticism is OK, since he looked with his eyes and I did with mine. His mentioning of the physics effect for example I didn't think of so that will shorten my experiments when I use it. I would have killed the butterfly in first physics tries I guess:o
Material, well the difference will be seen when I use all that possibilities ME offers :D
cool, I learned just a new word from you : honed
but I guess there still will fall down a lot of swarfs before I can start with that :D |

Naaa, that butterfly is tough ;), no harm can come to her/him? :). I just dissagreed with Criticism on no need to share which I probably took it the wrong way so all is good. |

It is cool Emma.
It shows the power of trueSpace and how easy it is to put something together.
I always get an idea from even the simplest examples.
Yes please keep sharing. Of course constructive criticism such as Vizu's is also helpful. |

OK, changed the materials to give them kind of a plastic look as it is typical for 3D movies on television.
Still thinking about the peach how to let it fall, so I just took a first glance:rolleyes:
I'm working on it...... |

For the Background !
Take a 12 side cylinder and delete the top and bottom cap.
flip all faces and paint the cylinder with a panorama photo.
Scale the cylinder bigger that your cam is in the cylinder.
Try one of these photos for a test. http://www.panorama-photo.net/panoramas.php?all
Look there for a nice panorama Image with a grassland in front and maybe mountains in the background that your scene looks like a part of the panorama. |

I liked the original texturing. It looked like it was done with pastels. I could be wrong on the word on that. You don't have to go with realistic texturing to produce a nice work of art. The animation itself needs work. But I can see the art in the story line you were making. |
