Hello,


this is a repost from the visitor area, I am a proud member now :)


we are a small team of hobby game developers.

We create shareware games and sell them in webshops and from our homepage.


We are currently working on a 3d space shooter (mostly 2d gameplay but 3D GFX), with an epic background story and one or 2 player option.

The screens still need better and more models


The game is being programmed with BDS2006 (Delphi) using DirectX9.

All objects are 3D Meshes (we use an own format MDJX can be exported from most common formats)


We are one Developer (me), one Sound and Music Artist, and two Graphic Artists, we create the game in our free time. Most GFX are done with Truespace and then exported to DirectX .X Format and then converted to our own format by me.


The game is already playable (early stage) and has an Intro done.


We are searching for support:


One Concept artist, who creates alien Races with Aliens itself (for communication interface mostly) and alien spaceships, maybe alien buildings.


Modellers which help us create Meshes for Spaceships and Buildings mostly.

Hi Robert,


we mostly need spaceships and alien buildings.


Each should not have more than 1500 Polys.


Of course it would be great if it also has a texture, a bumpmap and speluarmap, but we can also do bumpmaps and specmaps ourselves with a tool.


A "normal" spaceship has a width/length of 8 meters and stands on 0/0/0, but we can do scaling and positioning ourselves, if you send us the mesh (.X, .Obj or Truespace scenes etc.).

We later want to have some alien races, each with their own spaceships. So you can let your fantasy decide, what the ship looks like, but it would be cool to have some

spaceships of the same race later. Then you need to have a name for your Race and each ship of course ;)


Are you interested in a beta? We have a playable beta online.

If you'd like to, you could take a look at the beta and maybe do a test spaceship or building? :D

I'm not sure if you can export stuff from Spore™ but you can make some pretty amazing stuff there very very quickly. Just thought I'd throw that out there.;)

we are creating a shareware game, and we want to sell it from the internet, we have a webshop and link it to several shareware sites.

Ok, yeah I would like to see the beta so I can get a feel for the kind of Universe that you and your team are aiming at creating, that way I can make stuff that can be believed to exist in your game instead of just being random.

Yes I am still interested, and the homework load has lightened up so I can have a relatively quick turnaround for ship and building models once I find out what the style is.

Also ja, auf diesen moment seit es ser cool aus. Wan du die beta fertig hast möchte ich des anschauen. Ich weis das mein Deutsch ist nicht besonders gut, aber ich denke das es ist gut genug für mich.


English translation:

So yeah, at this moment it looks really cool. When you have the beta finished I'd like to see it. I know that my German is not that great, but I think that it is good enough for me.
