Very nice compliments. It makes it all worth it!

Here we are all playing in our 3D worlds building Castles.
In France they are using old world techniques to build a real Castle!
They've spent 11 years so far. Maybe we should extend our deadline to 11 years too.;)

Continued with the Castle room and created my King.

Fur was done with Dribble.

Robe was done with the new Cloth tools in TS7.6 (cool tool!!!)

Lions and Gold Crown were created by tracing an actual throne using the edge tool, then extruded, and finally

SDS was applied twice.

How it was done:

A little bit of Hollywood in every render.

I studied pictures of Castles on the Internet for days. What did the furnishings look like? What did the masonry look like?

What does a fool look like? ;)

The props are set up for the camera so it appears to be a full room.

My son took a digital picture of me dancing around like a "fool"

for the Jester Plasma TV picture. I then painted on the costume.

The hanging banners (not shown here) were done using the new cloth tools.

Using spots aimed at the ceiling I faked candle light. A spot in the window for the sun.

HDRI to bring up the details.

Time to move on to another project.

I want to thank you for your great work and project step info. This project has really jump-started my tS experience (only 2 weeks old /off and on). The draw panel tool (with its extrude tool) is exactly what I needed !!! Also, the caligari texture is a blessing !!! I'm still trying to locate where my copy tool is sending my copys and how to boolean subtract, but hey....what you've shown here is icing on "the cake"!!!:p THANKS AGAIN !!!
