This site is pretty cool for locating other users of TS. The weird thing is NO TrueSpace 7 users are listed in California....and where is Calagary located? If I were them I would get everybody's name on that map and show everyone that TrueSpace is more popular than people think.

Caligari Corporation
1959 Landings Drive
Mountain View, CA 94043
"Mountain View" sounds like a place where I would place my mansion :D |

Thanks Parva but I was implying an irony that there are no TS7 users in California according to the map yet their main office is there. It was my wake up call!
I guess I was a self appointed evangelist for the day. |

Mattam (Matt Chan) former caliIntern is in Sunnyvale, caliFornia.
The Frappr map is a little screwy (hey, it's a beta, after all) and when I just checked it it did indeed look like there were no users in CA. Once I selected mattam's name from the 'Member List' his pin showed up on the map.
So, it was merely an Optical Conclusion. |

There are probably few or more. I'm from Riverside, California just didn't put it up on my profile. Hmm... |

I live in Los Gatos, CA, and I am listed as such. I have been to the Caligari offices in Mt. View.

Hey Roman - if your seeing this -
How about a tour of the building one weekend or weekday at lunch? I would love to see Caligari from the inside and even meet some of your employees..

Users have to add themselves to the map- but it's fast and painless.
See the first post in this thread (http://forums.caligari.com/discus/messages/74/20017.html?) for a couple pointers on the process.
What are you waiting for?

Well, I'm in the UK and the chances of me ever getting to California are about equal with the chances of getting to Narnia (I havent even got a wardrobe:) )
But I've always been curious to see what the Caligari building looks like. Has anyone thats been got a photo they could post. I imagine it all steel and glass on a hill surrounded by trees. I'll be very disapointed if its on an industrial estate.:D |

Well, Here you can see a little bit of the neighborhood (http://maps.a9.com/?ypLoc=1959%20Landings%20Dr%2C%20Mountain%20View%2 C%20CA%2C%2094043)... no shots of the actual caliBuilding but it does look like an industrial park type area.
No 'Castle on the Hill' it seems.

About 7 years ago I lived in mntn view and lived about ~1/2mile from caligari. I lived off stierlin ct in those appts there. In fact I used to walk to the Safeway shopping center there and that was about 3/4 of the way.
At that time I remember Yahoo being my neighbor as well!

Looks like someone at Google got it wrong.

Times have changed in two and a half years!
We would instead (of course:rolleyes:) use Virtual Earth to find Caligari Headquaters.
I'm sure there are more Californians using TS now. (After 3 million downloads I'm sure one other person lives in California)
Caligari Headquaters roofs are no longer blue, their now coated in Gold...;) |
