When you finish the render.. must create a report.. with thime elapsed.. i think its good to compare performances on render times.. Not remaining time but elapsed time its needed..
Other thing.. its send e-mail when finish.. shutdown the pc.. sound alert... for example
Save your own file resolution preset... a button to save the resolution or add to the preset list on "Render to file"..
The Backup each on time period... its very needed too..
Best Regards.. |

This is a screen grab of the one that Vue 6Infinite does at the end of it's render job.

something like the vray frame stamp would be great. You can choose the settings you want and/or apply it to the render picture in the frame buffer.
Already asked for something like that.. but guess... no response ;) |

A couple of months back I made a small plugin for someone on the trueSpace mailing list that show you the final render time for stills and animations.
http://www.quantumchamaeleon.com/truespace/Timer.tsx
Nothing amazing, trivial to implement, and anyone wanting to do more interesting things could easily do so. |

What version of Windows are you running? The tsx relies on MFC80U.dll and MSVCR80.dll, which may or may not be present in your system directory. |

I had the same prob. You need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=32BC1BEE-A3F9-4C13-9C99-220B62A191EE&displaylang=en), & then it should work. |

I'm happy to hear it is working now. I had been thinking about putting together an actual setup program that would include the runtime installation, but I never got around to it for some reason. As it was just a spur-of-the-moment implementation, I stopped looking at it after the person initially asking for it said it worked fine. |
