Workspace: It would be great if we could arrange our tools (icons) at will.

Not only a complete bar, but the single icons too.

For example, the Object-Icon is the upper icon in the line. You always

have to go the same long way along the toolbar and then to the arrow.

sure we can create a shortcut, but I think this behaviour is a step back from

TS6.6

I could be getting the wrong idea of what you want to do as I'm just starting to learn 7.5 - but I can move whatever icon I want in Workspace by holding the LMB and then CNTRL button. Not only can you separate the icons from the stack they're in, you can also change their order in the stack by the same method.

Hope this helps,

strange  In the afternoon I tried it as you said, but it did not work.

Now I tried again and became confused that it works. I am sure I did it right everytime.

Something else I've found - if you 'close down' the library/panel stack(click the 'x' on upper right) to get more room - right click functions of the different tools opens up small windows in the upper left of my screen. This is useful to me because when I just used the 'slider' windowshade thing, I couldn't see what happens when I right clicked on tools. The small panel windows open one on top of the other - so you have to remember to close them down.

Secondly - as I wrote in another post - try the 'speed copy/clone' function in Workspace.

click and hold LMB on object, press and hold CNTRL and drag mouse....instant clone :)
