When creating primitives the "Info Panel" only updates after you let go of the mouse button. Why doesn't it update as you create the object in real time? This allows the user to create a specified object size before letting go of the mouse button.

Modifying the object does work in real time.

Steinie to get an object a certain 'size' when creating it you must go to the primitives panel[right click primi before creating, go to default tab uncheck 'keep sizes' . now go to primi panel you want to use, lets say cube, set sizes. height, width, depth..then click once on screen to create]..

as it is the info panel bbox size is only good if the obj isn't rotated after or during creation. try rotating an obj and look at info panel bbox size and try sizing it..

it would be nice if size gets implemented properly including during realtime primitive creation ;)

You can still do it like that in 6, Steinie, if you promise not to cry a little when you see how easy it is.

Hello Steinie,

I know what you mean. As an alternative you could turn on "Distance feedback display".
