1. Dynamic (and animatable) hair that's able to be shaped using curves as guides.

2. Water tools (like a built in dynamic ripple generator that makes ripples in the water when something touches it, and an ocean maker with settings for waves.

3. Keyframable cloth, hair, and water (see number 2).

4. Rigid animation skeletons along with the smooth animation skeletons.

5. A built in renderer for the workspace side (one that comes with Truespace, and you don't buy it separately).

1. Dynamic (and animatable) hair that's able to be shaped using curves as guides. Ah, one could make cartoon characters hair stand on end when scared, lol For now, try the soft paint brush, and the different hair brushs to reshape hair from one key frame to the next.

2. Water tools (like a built in dynamic ripple generator that makes ripples in the water when something touches it, and an ocean maker with settings for waves.

Yes, that would be nice. For now, I think it would be possible to do this with scripts. Persons making vrml worlds are making good water and ocean simulations, not sure just how. Might look around on vrml forums for how to make water effects, and adapt to truespace. Truespace can load vrml, at least old version 6 could do it. They did things like use a script to animate the x,y,z co-ordinates of an object painted like water, and or use of switching textures of ripples on an object that was the water, and or other methods. We can do that in truespace too, but it would be nicer if there was a tool menu for it so we did not have to program scripts.

So to get water and or ocean effects now, go to the scriptor topic, and ask for help there, and I think someone will be able to show you how.

3. Keyframable cloth, hair, and water (see number 2). Think you could just swap in/out different models of characters and or textures, etc, in the animation and do this now, I have made animated texture animations, just by recording one keyframe with the character painted one way, and then in the next key frame, just stop and paint the needed changes onto the character, and then record the key frame. Think it would also work with some editing of mesh.

4. Rigid animation skeletons along with the smooth animation skeletons.

What would be the purpose of a rigid animation? What would it be used for? Think you could just put a lock or locks on a skeleton and make it rigid for the animation. Explore topic skeleton locks.

5. A built in renderer for the workspace side (one that comes with Truespace, and you don't buy it separately).

Yes, that would be great.

See my post on camtasia which you can get free. It will record your truespace on any screen, and records audio at same time, and puts them in a video type file. Its the easy free way right now to make videos of your animation.

The result files can be loaded into most video editor programs so you can splice all your small files into one big video file, and or cut out parts, etc, and add effects from the video editor. You can also record audio with camtasia at same time as video, so anything audio going on will be included in the video.
