I really prefer to use kinda optional easier way to adjust parameters using mouse click(s) as below:

You can enter mathematical expressions/equations into the object info panel right now.

Example: You have a cube that is 1 X 1 X 1.
In the 'Size' input n*2 and press enter. (Where n is the existing value, in this case it's 1)
You just multiplied it by 2.

In workspace the 'scale' parameter is the same as 'size'

/ = division, and + and - do their thing as normal.

I like the arrows/sliders idea.
