I have been working on these scenes off and on for a little while. I use these scenes to play with Dribble and it's features. I have been doing a lot of experimenting with Dribble and I thought I would share it with everyone. These are the 4 scenes I'm working on at the moment. I hope to develop these a little more with better lighting and more modeling as I go. I'm trying to keep these small so I can focus on making them look good.

C&C welcome.

Thet look great Liger, the top one reminds me of something from an old Dr. Seuss book.

Ha, you're right it does look like something from Dr Seuss:). I have a question: What are the sharp shadows on the I guess the outer container? Is that a dribble artifact?

Thanks guys.

jayr your right. The first one is based on Dr Seuss' Horton Hears A Who.

clintonman I don't know why it does that. I think just the shape of it. I was thinking about just redoing the stand. It's a little odd.

I don't think those shadow issues are artifacts.

I think the base needs to be subdivided and given a smooth material. Also, the shading rate (settings of 0.5 or lower are good for a final render), type of shadow (raytrace or shadowmap), and the light settings (i.e quality) play a role in how shadows look in Dribble.

If you're using area shadows then pumping up the area samples is a good idea too.
