I know this will probably fall under the category of tS6.6 probs that can't/won't be fixed, but hopefully will not exist when you create the new player side versions, but I thought I'd post it anyway, just incase it's something else.
I've been working with SDS [model side - graphics card's not fast/recent enough to use Player] & the mirror modelling tool, & clicked on the Create/Update Welded Temporary Test Object & got an error message:
Access violation at address 1040D2DB in module 'tsxapi.dll'. Read of address 00030007.
The tsxapi.dll part makes it sound like a problem with a plugin, but I only have 2 loaded [ZoomToFit 1.01, & Stan's Object Panel 1.4.1], & I wasn't using either of them at the time. |

Update:
I forgot to mention, after getting that error tS crashes after I use its Shutdown button [I don't mean since then, just if I've had that error].
Looks like it only happens with the very latest version of my scene. Oh well. The good news is that by going back to the previous save I'm only losing 10-20 mins work. :) |

The M/M problem was addressed in another thread Alien. I have used it for so long I forgot it was originally a plug in. Also, it uses a different code to rest of Ts - that is why the icon for running it is new but those in the tooolbar are not-I did some nice ones but they could not be used.
Just thought you might like to know... |

I don't suppose you remember the details, or where the thread was? I've tried the search function on this forum, plus a google of caligari.com which covered the old forum & the gameSpace forum as well, but haven't found anything. |

Sorry Alien, bad choice of words again (I am rushing around at work). I meant M/M issue and was referriing to the thread that requested a new icon for M/M toolbar. I explained there that it was not part of TS code as it was a plug-in, hence icons could not be changed. Not sure why it is causing any errors though.
Sorry for any misunderstanding..:( |
