I noticed (in 4View in case it matters) that the current view becomes inactive upon clicking a button on a toolbar. Click a view and use the mousewheel. As expected, it zooms in/out. Now click a toolbar button. Now try to use the mousewheel over the view. No zoom which to me means that the view is no longer active/in focus. This appears to be a bug to me as I think it would be preferable to keep the current view active.

It is just a change of context. Remember that libraries can be scrolled through so if you tried that while you had an active view up it would affect your scene. This to me is not a bug at all but a very useful feature to stop you zooming in or out accidentally. In the whole beta process no one found this to be a problem but only a developer can say for sure if it was intended.

Sure that makes sense, but it seems a little unexpected to me that clicking a button on the toolbar that is attached to the active view grabs focus away from the view.

You are right. This was also an annoying thing in tS7.1.

The good news is that you will not find this problem with tS7.5 Modeler's toolbars ; it only occurs with Workspace's toolbars.
