Nice job! That was step one.
Now put some shiny chrome texture on there.
Step 3? Then model the rest of the skateboard!:)

At least when modeling you know when you're done. Rendering just goes on forever. Here is one of many attempts. Lightworks with HDRI lighting.

J90, Thanks, glad you like it. The chrome parts have gray color, no bump, "conductor" reflectance. The thingee that hold the bearings is supposed to look like brass so it has a brown color, no bump, metal reflectance shader. There is a sample scene on the model side with a chrome ball on a piece of foil that I basically imitated.
