In the "Object render options", if you uncheck "Cast shadows" on an object, then render the scene in Vray 1.5, the object still casts shadows. Unchecking "Receive shadows" does work, though.

And plus...on vray 1.0 and 1.5 if you add a light inside a layer, and you hide that layer the lights still working .. On Lightworks works fine...

The function Cast Shadows when applied to a light means that the light object itself casts shadows when lit by other lights does it please?

Rather than 'Objects lit by this light will now cast shadows' I mean. Just checking thanks

No the cast shadows setting for a light means that when it illuminates an object, that object will cast shadows.
