Don't think this qualifies as a bug, more of an oversight, but it's extremely irksome. I hot-keyed the object move, rotate and scale tools in workspace as they're nested together by default. Using the hotkeys activates the relevant tool, but the active tool doesn't take the focus on the toolbar (as if you'd selected it by mouse) so you have no visual indication that it's actually been selected. I like to work with everything in it's default position to start with while I learn as I figure "the designers thought it was the best place so it must be OK", then tweak the layout to suit me when I know it better, but I've had to move the three tools out to their own toolbar as it was really bugging me not knowing at a glance which was active.

Hope that makes sense.

How on earth do you set up hot keys in the workspace?

Hold STRG, rightclick at a tool, and voila :)

You know, I think I tried every combination except for that one!

Must not have read that part of the manual yet.

What does STRG stand for? Obviously it means Shift+Ctrl+Alt, I've never heard of it before.

Thanks! :jumpy:

Oh hah hah. I guess that could be a problem :)

You know, I thought it was Ctrl, but when I tried it before I posted (That's what I thought it was from 7.11), it didn't work, now it works fine. . . Maybe my key was stuck or the program was hung up or something.

Thanks for the help, and now I know what the abreviation for Ctrl is in German. :D

On a side note, I was born in Stuttgart. But we only lived there until I was one and a half years old, so regretably I don't remember anything about it. I'd like to get back there some day, if only to visit where I was born.

The bug, people, the bug!

Just don't want a Caligarian to pop their head in and think it's a debate on the merits of German beer (which has many merits!).

Caligari dudes - please see post one!

WWitch so when you say:
