Hello

I spent all morning re rigging crazy bob with fingers and trying to get better ik controls. I was saving often so I don't lose anything. Then truespace crashed. Now when i try to load the model nothing loads and I just get an object in link editor that says ik handle. I would really like this file to work, I don't want to redo all that work. Does anyone know how to fix a corrupt file? Could caligari possibly fix it for me? I'd really appreciate it. This happened to me once before with crazy bob.

See Attached. Please let me know soon.

The numbered version i saved before that doesn't work either. I get nothing in workspace and an object named joint in link editor. This is very bad. This one wasnt even opened when truespace crashed.

Hello

I just look to your models.

Look at their size ! they are too small.

When i save crazybob in rsobj, the size i get is 1,16 Mo

Take care when you save in object and not in scene

when you save in object , just the part whith the focus is saved not the full model, if you want to be sure save as a scene ...

that is my personal experience with truespace ...

Hang in there dude.

For what it's worth, I am having kind of a similar problem with setting clips to additive mode; the mesh blows up.

A couple things that may be worth trying:

start a new scene. Load the object. See if it crashes or not. If not resave as a scene.

From windows, copy the file to another filename. Then reload that file.

Worth a shot at least!

Another useful tip is to use the LE to select the object you want to save out. :)
