If you set a background image for rendering and save the scene, when you reload the scene the image path isn't saved and you have to reset it manually. How are you saving the scene, as a RsScn file or via the TrueSpace 6 scn format? Mine don't carry over, I always have to reset it when I reload a scene, which can be quite tedious. In my Tree scene that I submitted for the latest monthly I ended up using a sky box, but I keep forgetting to turn off the background image before saving it. Here I've deleted the sky box and done an area render so you can see. Pay attention to the arrows I've added. I put the background as image, THEN I selected image from the toolbar by selecting it, then right-clicking to put it in. 10933
