Reproducing the Visual C++ crashes while normalmapping, described and shown by a screenshot in the thread about the two methods for it, was somehow sucessful. It doesn't happen always. But it happens. I was at least able to make a video about it :)

It has to do with minimizing, windowed and maximizing from what i can say. The crash occurs after minimizing TS, window it back and try to export the normalmap.

truespacecrash.wmv, 1.9 Mb (http://reinerstileset.4players.de/ext/truespacecrash.wmv)

I hope it is reproduceable :)

Been unable to reproduce this here, it saves as expected for me without a crash. Was using the tS catsuit object if you want to try with the same identical object.

HTH,

Tom

Ok i found your error ;)

bTW, your error is not related to maximize minimize the ts window.. is just seems to be or a workflow bug or just a normal map tool bug..

I can reproduce your error with a single sphere so is not a bug related with the objects on your scene..

Ah, glad you got the baddie Prodigy. That's always the most exciting part. Is the bug reproduceable or not. Nice one that it is :)

And yes, i am german. Sorry for my cruel slang :)
