I would start render, switch to another program. When I returned to 7.6, I found the renderer had stopped. A quick test revealed that the use of the escape key will stop the Vray renderer even if another program has focus. Have to be carefull not to press escape while rendering with Vray then, even if trueSpace is minimized and another program is in foreground :)!
