I decided to try a different resolution (smaller) than the one I had before and attempted to open up 7.6 7.6 would not open until I changed the resolution back to where it was (1680 X 1050 pixels) I rebooted and change the resolution to 1440 x 990 pixels (easier on older eyes) and there were no problems. Perhaps serendipity or perhaps not. (20 inch wide screen monitor used)
