I'm having fun with the magnetic tool in tS6.6 right now. It has a "Snap angle" property box (Rclick tool to reveal) but there is absolutely no mention of it in the manual. There isn't any apparent difference between min & max values. Can someone tell me what this control does?

"Snap Angle" only has an effect when you are using "Roll on Anchor" together with "Snap to faces". It defines the angle between the faces of the objects after which they will no longer roll smoothly against each other but will snap together.

At a value of 1 the faces always roll smoothly. At a value of 15 when the faces get within 15 degrees of each other they will stop rolling and suddenly snap together. Try the magnetic tool with two cubes and enable "Roll on anchor" and "Snap to faces" to see the effect.
