See this thread (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=4849) with several minitutorials for further enlightenment. tS5 uses basically the same procedure. 2) Audio feature like?... not sure what you mean... tS3 was a long time ago so my memories are hazy. I did a quick search of the help files and icons and didn't see anything either. Any audio stuff would be integrated into the animation department- perhaps what you need is in there.
