I know this goes against what a few have advised in terms of pricing but I have reduced the Buddy World subscription rates quite substantially. There are many reasons but a conversation with a friend who explained he would probably not subscribe as he really could not afford any 'non-essential' items in the current economic climate made me rethink this.

I do have a statement that these are introductory prices so I can review it later when I get all the educational stuff up there as well.

Rates are now;

£60 for a school or organisation per year
£10 for a private subscription per year
£6 for a 6 month private subscription
£1 for a weeks access

I will likely never see a great return from this as I guarantee my site free from adverts or pop-ups but I would rather my stuff is getting seen with a modest return than not.
Google adwords is showing a good set of hits on my ad and plennty of clicks but not so many subscribers.

Anyway, for those interested or knowing friends and family who might, this is as much of a bargain as it gets! Just click on the Buddy World logo below to go straight there.

I figured 1 million curious parents teachers or carers are more likely to look around for a week, while a lot less might subscribe at £20+ per year...

I realise there is another thread on this but it was suggested it should be in business.

I would like to think so...:D

A digital download of Little Cloud on lulu is almost half a years subscription and you are getting well over 20 books (including Little Cloud) for this price as well as games, WIP's and activities.

I reckon that makes it less than 50 pence (70 cents?) per book for a whole year. Consider all the activities free and there are no sponsors, adverts or pop-ups to annoy or distract young children.

If you like the content, you can't really grumble at those prices...:D

Given how much Caligari and the tS community has supported me over the years, it only seems fitting to give a little back. If any long term forum members would like a free 6 month subscription to Buddy World, drop me an email with the email you wish to be your user name.

By long term I simply mean anyone who has been around for a while and has therefore helped contribute to its development, or at least offered advice. If you think that is you, then drop me a line.

It might not be your cup of tea, you might not have kids, but you are here because you use tS and the whole site forms a record of much of my best work produced in tS from version 2 onwards.

Just want to do something for the forum members while I still can. I don't really have anything else of value I can offer to take the sting out of yesterday's news...:o
