Well I turn 40 tomorrow on the 13th..Friday even. :D
Though that means nothing to me really it's ironic I found myself looking for some old files for an object or two in completeing a current project.
Came across some 'classic' stuff of their time in my life.
These first two go back to 2001 - figures were Poser models imported into TS 4 - guy uses my face as texture. Fish guy is original creation
Ah yes the days of 'internet comics' and how they were gong to change everything.

Ah yes the days of 'internet comics' and how they were gong to change everything.
Kind of like web3d. Anyway, the dream still lives. This (http://www.zudacomics.com/) is DC's new online comics endeavour.

40??? lol. Should have done a "coffin" speed modelling challenge this week :D
At my office they have this 3 foot tall coffin with a bunch of brass plates engraved with the names of all folks who turned 40 in the building.
It's starting to look like a golden King Tut sarcoughagus (sp?) with all that brass.
One year while someone was decorating an office pod they fell off the desk and almost killed themself.
The coffin broke their fall...and broke itself in the process. Weird but true!
At 38, you're not that far ahead of me old man! :D

Forty's weren't that bad... a few shattered dreams, life ambitions not achieved, broken heart, crushed spirit, aching bones start to show up, realization that bank accounts don't grow on their own, career is in the toilet, happiness is an illussion...
ah yes, the forty's were a fine time.

Dating back to September of 1998 !!!
Remember when just ahead of internet comics was the way the web was going to change the music scene...?
Well I was in a band and jumped on the bandwagon early as also getting into the web design 'thing'. But alas 'dial-up' made it all silly in my mind so it petered out. Did sell the domain name years later.
wmz file is a 'commercial' that was designed to run on local cable stations. People in your town are watching MTV but they then see your commercial. Only in 2-3 towns not national. Reasonable prices
Original file was only 320 x 240 - this is 720 x 480 scaled
-sound stinks
..but that be the band I was in
back when people still recorded into 'boom boxes' with microphones the size of a pimple.
