I'm am thinking about purchasing gameSpace soon, but i need to know if it has the ability to export .x files with multiple animation sets, and if so do any of the video courses explain how to export multiple animation sets to a single .x file. If not, is there documentation somewhere to explain the process?

I have intermediate knowledge of trueSpace from school, but people their don't know how this is done in trueSpace either(great school A). I know this can be done in 3D studio max with a plug-in called panda, but there is no way i'm buying 3D$, plus it's a thousand times harder to use.

I haven't any experience with Gamespace, but you can download Gamespace light and try it out, it says it can export as .X files

Best to ask over on the gS forums :)

http://forums.caligari.com/gameSpace/index.php

People there have more direct experience of these issues.

I believe the answer is that it is not possible to directly export multiple animation sets to .x format. I think it is possible with some external editing of the file.

However, I would ask over on the gS boards and get their advice, as people there will have done this for real while working on game projects :)

Thanks!

Tom
