Since everyone is bandying the word about so much...

"Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you, but not in one ahead.”

Bill McGlashen

“Patience can't be acquired overnight. It is just like building up a muscle. Every day you need to work on it.”

Eknath Easwaran

"It is easier to lead men to combat, stirring up their passion, than to restrain them and direct them toward the patient labors of peace."

André Gide(spelling, I'm sure)

"He was a cowboy, mister, and he loved the land. He loved it so much he made a woman out of dirt and married her. But when he kissed her, she disintegrated. Later, at the funeral, when the preacher said, 'Dust to dust,' some people laughed, and the cowboy shot them. At his hanging, he told the others, 'I'll be waiting for you in heaven---with a gun.'"

Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]

Quote#1 is relevant because we must remember we are subject to the patience we expect.

Quote#2 and #3 are relevant because it is important to remember that in creating Demand, you naturally erode Patience. Equal parts of demand and patience equal ambivalence.

Quote #4 is relevant because patience that is not attached to reasonable expectation of satisfaction is insanity. Everything in nature comes with a time we can expect fruition and more often than not that cycle is repeated.

There is no patience without an objective.
