Hi All

Just made a model of the game mousetrap and now i want to use the camera so i can go round the scene but the camera only points in one direction even when i use the lookat tool. How do i render it so the camera goes round the model. All help would help. Thanks.

Assuming you are using TS 6.6 or lower

1- open the KFE - Key Frame Editor

2- Right click on the Record button in the KFE - not the record button on the TS main window

3- in the list presented make sure 'look at' is checked as a recorded element

4 - Be sure you record a 'Look at' Keyframe at frame 0 and 1 (look at the KFE- refresh to confirm you have recorded 'look at' keyframes for the camera)

5 - from this point jut move and record the camera movement keyframes where you need it to be as the animation progresses and the camera will continue to rotate to 'look at' the object, though it will not move with it. As far as I am aware the 'look at' only effects camera rotation not movement.

that should do it..as far as the Look At part of the question
