To avoid stupid, useless answers: -I get the same thing in both Model and Workspace view. -No, I do not have VRay, and am not planning on getting it. Dishing out $300 for a renderer kind of defeats the purpose of trueSpace being free. I am also only a casual animator/modeler, so my budget is $0. Some are only to be used on the Model side, and some are only to be used on the Workspace side. There are different render buttons for each side. So you have to be mindful that you are using the toolbar that corresponds to the view you are in, Model or Workspace. hth
