I could never get it to work again. I would click on the the trueSpace icon on my desktop, or from programs list or where ever and the same thing would happen: the TrueSpace logo box(the butterfly image with written :metaphors of design ; truespace 7.6 ; version 7.6; 1989-2008 caligari corp) would show up on my screen (to show that the program is loading) but then nothing else. it would just stay like that, but the program itself would never load. I unninstalled it and re-downloaded truespace but still get the same result. why is this? Post by Jack Edwards // Sep 15, 2008, 10:26pm Jack Edwards Total Posts: 4062 This can happen if you change your video driver. Since TS seems to be very driver sensitive. Also you can try holding down the CTRL key while clicking on the TS icon. That will bring up a dialog where you can check the "use default configuration" check box and will then load TrueSpace with the default settings and layout. Other pitfalls are to make sure you don't install TS to the "Program Files" directory on Vista since that causes problems. Also make sure that you both install TS as administrator and run it as administrator.
