so 3Dworld came out with TS 7.6 and I just really want to get a hang of this wonderful program, but I'm already having trouble x_x;;;
I'm trying to follow the Organics modeling from the site here, downloading the recourses who should have something of 10 chapters, only ends up with 4 chapters in total.
then a little later I'm supposed to drop the fish on the material, what also does not work. I'v kinda tried everything afther that , dropping it on everything that has the added material, I thought I heared him say 'press control and drag drop' but when I press ctrl I get a 'Load' window so I can't drag ???

I'm kinda clueless ... I'd really like to tackle this software, Sketchup isn't for me and Blender and Wings either, Truescape however looks powerful and works with Vue ! o_o;;;
tx for reading, I hope someone knows whats going on. |

When you Control-Click-Drag on the image in the Link Editor, target the title bar of the object--not the little icon of the image that is in its drop-down.
Hope that is clear. It threw me as well. |

I posted something on this in another thread here (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showpost.php?p=82178&postcount=11).
Hope that is what you were wanting. |

Robert,
Your method is much easier than the tutorial which uses the Link Editor for some reason. Thanks.

The tutorial was made using tS7.51, and things changes in tS7.6 to make dealing with materials a little easier :)
HTH!

Not yet, he's working on it at the moment. There will be some kind of announcement I'm sure so just keep looking around.;) |
