I want to use some reference images in Truespace but if I add some they appear very fuzzy and are no use at all. If I render the scene they appear fine. How can I get my references images to be sharp and clear?

Many thanks.

If you are talking about how they appear in real-time (as you mention they are clear when rendered), on the Model side, right click on any icon for the real-time modes (solid, wireframe, transparent, etc).

This opens a dialog that controls the texture resolutions tS uses, it has 3, Txt Res, LW, and Txt Res For Workspace. LW is Lightworks, Txt Res for Workspace is the real-time workspace scene, and Txt Res is the real-time model scene.

These will cause downsampling of an image to this resolution (eg 32x32 pixels). Change these to a reasonable image size, say 512x512 or even 1024x1024, to improve how the real-time looks.

HTH!
