Would it be feasible to create a functional Rubik’s cube in trueSpace7?
By that I mean scripting wise?

Would be cool - this is a kind of stuff that tS7 scripting can handle very well.

Just go ahead :)

Okay I have updated the first post to include the rubeXcube.RsObj. Those that are willing to join in and help create this as a game, by all means please do so. Here is a link to the official online game version:
Edit: (http://www.rubiks.com/cube_online.html) Removed due to Johny making this into a game. Thanks Johny!:jumpy:

Notes about the constuction of the cube. I Glued/3D Encapsulated into 3 groups. Face, Middle, and Back. Face being the red facing cubes, then the middle and then the back. Cube, 1 starts at top left. See picture as an example.

Face
cube,1 cube,4 cube,7
cube,2 cube,5 cube,8
cube,3 cube,6 cube,9
Middle
cube,10 cube,13 cube,16
cube,11 cube,14 cube,17
cube,12 cube,15 cube,18
Back
cube,19 cube,22 cube,25
cube,20 cube,23 cube,26
cube,21 cube,24 cube,27

Well isn't that sweet. Great job Johny! After looking through your code I can see that I would have never figured that out. Amazing and you do in less than 8 hours. You know me and my Black screens, I just had to alter it a little bit. Picture is from truePlay1.2 Whatever version you choose you should put a link in the trueSpace7 objects thread so that Roman can add it to the Caligari web site. I am sure he would be most gratefull.

Note: And or if you wanted to expand it somemore. Maybe a Random number shuffle? By the way I choose not to expose the reset key. It still works but thought it would be more fun this way.
