I am wondering if the Pause Event operates on the same principle as the timer. Could the pause event be an alternative to a timer for coordinated / timed activities in shared space? I'd like to setup an infinite loop with a pause event in the loop, and load that into shared space. Basically, for simplicity, setup an animation of a cube with the circle generator, and monitor CPU activity.

I think you would get more accurate cpu readings if you just opened a second window and ran a cpu monitor program in it, and ran your truespace program in another. The difference in timers might impose their own cpu load that might mask what is really going on. Seems to me it would be possilbe to let one timer decrement a value, and when the value goes to zero, send control to timer two. and then timer two does its time, and returns control back to timer one. That would give you a slider on both timers that you could adjust for clock rate.
