Hey guys I am making a top down video game an I need a script that does this.

I need a script object that will save my rendering cameras position and rotation to a text file

and read from this text file to setup the rendering camera and also save the lights postion and rotation also.

Also I need this script to be able to load an object and center it in the scene. If it is flagged to be a character sprite

then it need to render it 8 times, increasing the z rotation by 45 degrees with each render and also I need to tell it

what frames to render too so when I am ready to render it the script can do all of its work at once.If it is flagged animated

sprite then it needs to render the scene from what was save to the text file for the camera and what frames that need to be

rendered. If it was flagged static sprite then it needs to render the scence from what was saved to the text file.

I hope this is not to much to ask for

Regarding camera positions being saved. You can position all the cameras in an empty scene, and then save it as a scene.

Then when you load in an object, the scenes of the camera positions get merged with your scene of the loaded object.

If you want them saved as a text file, you can use the version 6 file menu, and save them as vrml. This would make it easy to be able to read it into some other programming language, and process the file.

I am not very good at script writting so can not make this script you want, but think maybe this camera setup tip will be helpfull at times for you.
