Ok, I needed arrays in workspace so I wrote a script

Adjust the count and distances for the copies

Select the object you want to copy, and click start.

The function is not the same as you know from modeler, because it is

not possible to change the distance and count lively. But it works.

You have the option to give an ammount of random distance to the copies.

After work, the original object is still there and selected!

Nice one Wigand!

It looks like there is a random positioning aspect. Is there potential to develop it further with rotation and scale variants and the ability to "randomise" placement choices? ( ie. establish a grid approach as you have but use some formula to skip or replace with a "null" or second object on some choices.)

:D You give me something for nothing and still I want more!

Is already possible. Try the last column with numbers like 200.

Yes this is planned, but a little more complicated.

I will think about that.

You are welcome, and good ideas too :D
