now that this event is over... // CommunityrehabberFeb 9, 2001, 12:16pm
We can now get back to our regularly scheduled flames.
Eep, buddy, just tone it down a little and maybe try personal emails to get your questions answered. I don't know if you used that approach but you see what newsgroup banter spawned. Dunno if the "community" will be as tolerant the next time if another one of these events takes place. I'd really hate to see you get the boot from here again. Factor, I admire and respect you for what you brought to the table. Allowing the community to decide if one of our own needs to be removed is a HUGE step in the right direction. I applaud you for this. Take a few days off to let things simmer down a bit and then decide if you want to leave the groups instead of making that choice now. If you do decide to leave, well, I will understand completely but I believe your presence will be greatly missed. Groupies, I compliment you all for your participation even if it was to post some non-participation message. I think today we went from a community to a Community and it makes me just a little more proud to call AW my home in cyberspace. Anybody for a rousing game of go fish? Thankyou for acknowledging my efforts, I do appreciate it, and indeed I am doing just that. Chillin' Facter. sw chrisFeb 9, 2001, 9:11pm
Hey, don't start talking like that. AW is a community. You want to see a
"community", go to xwlegacy.net, stick around for a few months, and then tell me that AW is a "community." :) SW Chris Former xwlegacy.net staff member [View Quote] rehabberFeb 10, 2001, 1:22am
sorry I didn't make it clear.. I used a small c in the first reference
to our community refering to how we were and a capital C in the second reference to our community refering to how we have grown and hopefully matured in these last few days... I will make my posts more clear in the future... [View Quote] sw chrisFeb 10, 2001, 3:54am
Eh don't worry about it... I think now I should read the whole post before I
type. =-P :) SW Chris [View Quote] |
