I have a voice over I want to line up with certain things happening in an animation - how can I go about doing this? So for example, there is a pause in the voice over, I want something to happen in the animation during that pause...so syncing is going to be important.

The best way is to dope sheet the animation. Time everything out so you know what is happening where - both audio and action - then read off the frames from the dope sheet when you animate.

Give this plugin a try:

As you scrub through the frames, the WAV file plays at that specific location.

If you have a copy of Adobe Premiere (or other NLE), you can import the audio file, set the display to Frames, and use an x-sheet (aka dope sheet or exposure sheet) to make a note of which frames key sounds happen on.

I tend to agree with frank! I use tS strictly for graphics rendering. I use a wave editor to adjust audio files, and a video editor (Nova Development - Video Explosion Plus) to put it all together. In such a video editor you usually can adjust any of the audio and video clips to about one tenth of a second.

The only time that you may be forced to let trueSpace process your audio files is if it's a lip sync sequence.
