Very interesting! What engine was it done in, and also what was the content modeled in? Was there a game for this, or just the scenery / world to explore? Finally, I'd love to know more about the world itself, any story or background to these places as they look pretty interesting! Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks!

Tom

The first few look like some kind of outdoor meeting hall (Orcs?). The rest look a bit more technological; 2 different civilizations? I like the indoor gardens. What's with the blue signs though(Toronto, SM Rides, etc.)? Are you using 512x512 texture maps?

Once you get done with your University studies, I don't think you'll have a problem getting picked up by a real studio; keep working on the portfolio. What programs do you use for you game art?

Looks good. My only criticism is that one of the plants in the fish tank is surrounded by jagged white pixels. Could use a little cleam up on the texture.

it was done for the Activeworlds Engine, I was hired to create some of these. Put simply Activeworlds is a company that sells software to other companies that allow them to create a vritual universe in which people can interact and chat, i was hired by SprialMatrix to make the Gateway in which people who come in for the first time visit (as shown in the first image) and then abotu a year later i was asked to revamp it and made the Sci Fi type one, and the othe rimages were for different virtual worlds in which i was asked to model for.

Looks pretty cool, is it up and running, mabie something like this could be made for truespace users, "Trueworld".
