I thought you said there is a rendering, this is a real photo!!!;)
I like the little guy on the sofa too. Also noticed one of your statues on the mantle. The lighting is very nice as well as the modeling. I like your work! Now celebrate and open that bottle of wine....

Incredible work Marcel. If I dare to criticise the master.... The view from the window looks a little too bright and too higher contrast. Other that that

 INCREDIBLE

Looks great Parva, you the man. I tend to agree with Madmouse, the view from the window seems a bit bright. Your materials are really well done.

thanks Steinie.
I had no idea what to put in the room :D but got some good suggestion from Misc and atex.

thanks Madmouse and daybe too.

@Madmouse - yes it's possible. My intention was to simulate a room with no direct sun lighting and no flash. All lighting comes from the sky & bouncing light and so the aperture needs to be wide open. This effects in vignetting. The problem with the outside is that it's faked :) and I had no clue how far the difference between the lighting from outside and inside should look like but I agree that's a point where some fine tuning could be done.

btw. the guy on the sofa:
Bernd the Bread (not to mix up with Bread Pitt :D)
is very popular here in Germany... similar like Spongebob *g*

Parva, we already know that you are a masterful 3d artist. There is really no need to go posting photographs and claiming it as 3d. :p

In other words...BRILLIANT WORK! :D

Excellent Marcel - once again you show us how it can be done! The subject matter seems like a bit of a change for you but the attention to detail is as inspirational as all your work is.

Bernd the Bread - LOL. That's funny! Leads one to contemplate all sorts of crummy puns!

thanks to you all.

Exactly Mike :) 2 local lights, HDRI for sky and GI.
Finally some minor adjustments in Photoshop like the vignet-effect and color changes.
I will make a short description how the scene/render was done.

edit: picture update with some minor changes and a bit larger.
Thanks to Madmouse, daybe and atex for the helpful thoughts :)

hehe :D, thanks Alien!

btw. here (http://www.parva-project.de/stuff/ts/ts7/mof.jpg) screenshots from the scene setting (sorry just in german).

The strange tesselation at the walls I made to use the camera view in solid with wire mode or I had nothing seen in modeler. It's an known old problem, thank god that it's done in new Player view ^^

Everyhting else is not very exciting. I turned HDRI on for the incoming skylight and the two lights in the room brightend it up. A large soften shadow value to blur the shadows and to avoid to reveal the position of the lights.

Parva, this is most excellent work! This image should be in the dictionary next to the definition of "photo real". :)
