Another experiment with trueSpace 7.5 and Vray 1.5. Took the scenery with the old lady with her husband on the sphere between two mirrors, constructed new materials and rearanged with some more spheres.

- the base plate is a mirror

- the wall in the back has the same material as the small blue sphere at the tip. Notice that only in this small blue one the colours of all other items stay original

- the bigger blue sphere in the background has mirror as material. Notice the other items are mirrored here, but they should show the backside which is dark when you look on the original spheres, but:)

Continuing to experiment with Bubbles. Again, all done with pure trueSpace 7.5 (Beta) and Vray1.5 (Beta), no other tools used to fresh up the image in any way.

I'm using everything trueSpace offers me, colours, lights, objects, tools. So all I've done to this is putting all of that together in a composition.

Nice bubbles but the hair has me really worried! :p Also theres some aliasing around the edges, is it possible to anti-alias more or is that it?

hmm, it would almost appear that the hair doesnt reflect on the other bubles, is this true?

Actually, it does seem to be reflecting in the yellow bubble.

Very interesting render, Emma. Of course, I have weakness for shiny spheres :)

Yes it is, the reason you see it in above image is that there is a limitation of about 280KB for images, so I have to reduce the image level settings. Following is calculated with AA set to 4x, rendered as 1024*768 and then cut out 797*696, finally saved as JPG

Did a recalculation of just the part showing hair. As b_scotty already said above it's in the yellow bubble, but if you look on the red one you can see that it is there too, just a bit hard to recognize.

There are hairstyling tools so far which you can directly click on and use. For animation I must admit I don't know yet. But since we are working here with real hair ( and not the often used shader created Fur ) I'm sure that it will be possible in later versions. For now I just can see that some more of the params can be changed in LE or by scripting. So using them could create one or the other animation effect. What I just get in mind is for example the curling value. On the sphere above you see a high value set. If one changes randomly in a smal value area, controled by timer or script you would get some nice effect.

It's new and it's potential will come out as more the mass of users will work with it ( and of course the wishes what to add or extend for future releases).
