Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make procedural textures "stick" to a mesh when it is being deformed or bent using bones? The venerable "Imagine for Windows" and Carrara (with plugin) can do this and I was hoping it was possible in Truespace.

I was also wondering if someone has a 1.x version of the Jointmaster plugin which works with Truespace 4? I have contacted the author, Chikara Kojima, who said he no longer had a copy of the file which he could send to me. If someone could email me a copy of this free plugin, I would be very grateful.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Dan Williams

Hi Dan - dunno if this answer will be any good for your specific circumstance but... why not turn your procedural texture into an image file and paint that on your model?

It may be worth searching the old forums (fori) for an answer to this question - I vaguely recall it coming up before and the solution I've suggested was made there IIRC.

Hope this helps
