Hi again, I'm back to say that I found a website called

http://www.dedalo-3d.com/index.php.

It has free software called Make Human, and the website says it's "completely free", and I'm not sure whether this means I can use it in any products I would sell (like games, for example). Well, I downloaded it, tried it, and it's totally cool! You cannot really animate the humans you make in it, but you can export them in collada and wavefront object format. Then if I export the models in .obj format, load them in Truespace 7.5, and animate them there, I could use the models in movies in TS7.5 or models for games possibly. The only problem is, the models are nude, so I would need to make clothing, hair, and possibly accessories for the models.

If anyone knows anthing more about this program, or knows if it's royalty free please let me know. Also, tell me if you tried it, and/or like/dislike it, and tell me your ideas and opinions about Make Human.

Thank you!

Yes. Many of us use or have used makehuman. It's a versatile program.

Here are some brief mentions of it just doing a quick search on the name of the program here in the forums:

MakeHuman is not only freeware, but you may use it for any program that will import what it exports.

If you go to the link you listed there is a section on the left titled 'Docs'. Click on the legal link in that section. Basically it says you can re-distribute the mesh, but must include their copyright with the redistributed mesh.
