from the dice thread - a sort of attempt with booleans and subdivided cubes and spheres.


Only 1 dice included, you can copy it. :D

Here's my version, looks good if you subdivide it like 3 times.

Hand modeled all the way, took a while but I'm satisfied. Also due to modeling procedure complicated textures aren't required to fill dots with desired color, just replace existing.

New model, no SDS control except add more detail,:o but that's the price you have to pay for correct cube mapping.:p


Reason being is that I had to flatten history to map correctly,;) (and btw I did try to use the "UV Cube Mapping" tool on both model and player sides) although I'm not sure why you would want a hard edged dice object.:confused:


Below is an example image that I came up with when reading a packet for History about World War I causes, "The iron dice are cast.":cool:

Note: Your corners (lol I almost put coroners:D) and/or edges may look "squished" a bit and/or have slight seams when texturing with maps due to UV projections.:(
